Your Personal Data
The University of Glasgow will be what is known as the ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data processed in relation to your visit and use of the Endless Conflicts website (www.endlessconflicts.org). This privacy notice will explain how The University of Glasgow will process your personal data.
Why we need it
We are minimising the collection of any data, especially of your personal data to what is strictly necessary in order to offer you a functioning website. In particular we collect cookies in order to offer you a functioning web experience. We do not collect any other data from you when you visit the Endless Conflicts website. When you register for any event we organise we may need to collect data including personal data, such as name, email address, (sometimes a phone number), information about your professional interests including the organisation(s) for which you work and sensitive personal information to ensure we can make our services as accessible as possible, in order to offer you the requested service, but this will be made explicit and clear to you when you register for the relevant service.

What do we collect and what we do with it
Your data will be retained by the University of Glasgow for six months after the event or activity in which you participated has concluded and will then be deleted securely. The University of Glasgow will not share your data with any third party outside the University without your consent.
